Hello, and thank you sincerely for your interest in this research! My name is Hannah and I’m a Product Designer and trans* ally. My research involves designing technology to advocate for marginalised groups. This research was conducted in part fulfilment of an MA in User Experience Design with Falmouth University.

I believe everyone should have equal opportunity, and that’s why I created this resource. The following information is a tool for UX and web designers to refer to when designing job advertisement pages. The content outlines what design elements we need to include to create an honest, inclusionary and welcoming job-seeking experience for trans* users.

Feedback, critique and further suggestions are very much welcomed; I hope to platform as many voices as possible in this guide to inclusive design. Equally, please feel free to reach out if you are an employer and would like any guidance on the topic. You can contact me at: [email protected]

‘Trans*’ is used in this resource to denote the large variety of people who identify with the transgender spectrum of identities. This includes but is not limited to transgender, transsexual, genderqueer, and gender-fluid.
